Slowdown Hits High-End Carpet Exports

The slowdown in the global economy and the restrictions in Kashmir after the ending of special status for Jammu and Kashmir has hit India's high-end carpet export industry. The carpet industry wants Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to announce new measures in her budget speech to ease the supply of credit to carpet exporters.
