'Consider Advance Purchase Deals For Vaccine Producers': CII Chief

Industry body CII has called for 71.2 lakh daily vaccine doses and proposed ramping up vaccine production to 175 crore doses by December. For this, the CII suggested that the government make advance purchase agreements. "These agreements will give vaccine producers comfort and confidence to keep manufacturing," says TV Narendran, the new president of CII.
