Need Rs 3 Lakh Crore Stimulus To Raise Demand: CII

TV Narendran, the new president of industry body CII, says the government needs to put money into the hands of people, even if it's through schemes like the MNREGA. Mr Narendran says the government can even look at cutting GST on consumer goods for about six months. "Government must support MSMEs and high-contact businesses and focus stimulus on sectors that need more support," he told NDTV.
